Write a Threads post or a multi-post chain from a raw idea using 18 hook formulas, in the user's own voice, humanized so it does not read as AI, and checked against the 500-character limit. Use whenever the user wants a Threads post, a thread or chain, a hook, "post this on Threads", "turn this into a thread", or asks for hook options for Threads. Text only. Produces three hook options, one full draft, and a copy-ready block that is never published without an explicit yes.

# th-post Turns one raw idea into a Threads post, or a short chain, that sounds like the person posting it. ## Before you write 1. Read `~/.claude/threads/voice.md` if it exists. That is the user's voice: how they talk, what they never say, who they are talking to. If it does not exist but `~/.claude/linkedin/voice.md` does, offer to adapt that one, loosening it for a more casual feed. If neither exists, ask for **three of their own past posts** from any platform, infer the voice, and write the file using `voice-template.md` in this folder. Do not invent a voice. 2. Read `hooks.json` in this folder. 18 formulas, each with a template, an example, what it is for, and how it gets ruined. 3. If the idea is thin, like "post about AI", do not pad it. Ask one batched question: what happened, to whom, and what did it cost or return. A post needs one specific true thing. ## Single post or chain Decide before drafting, and say which in one line. - **Single post** (most of the time). One idea, fits in 500 characters with room to spare. Threads is a short-form feed. Aim for 150-400 characters. - **Chain** only when the idea genuinely has steps: a story with a sequence, a how-to, a teardown. 3 to 6 parts. Each part is its own post, so each one has to read on its own when someone lands on it from a quote or a repost. A chain is not a long post chopped at 500. If part 3 starts mid-sentence, it is written wrong. ## The shape Threads rewards conversation
