# Content Strategy Skill
Develops content marketing strategies, editorial calendars, and content briefs aligned with Brite's brand positioning, ICP segments, and go-to-market verticals.
## Prerequisites
**Read `docs/marketing-context.md` first** for foundational brand context — ICP profiles, value propositions, competitive positioning, and the entity flywheel. If the file doesn't exist, warn the user and proceed with reduced context.
## What It Produces
A content strategy document covering:
- Content pillars mapped to Brite's messaging pillars and entity value propositions
- Editorial calendar with publishing cadence per channel
- Content briefs for key pieces (case studies, portfolio showcases, thought leadership)
- Vertical-specific content recommendations (residential, commercial, installer-focused)
- SEO and topic cluster strategy aligned with competitive positioning
## Content Guidelines
All content must follow the voice guidelines from `docs/marketing-context.md`:
- Lead with customer transformation and outcomes, not features
- Use specific proof points (project portfolio, client results) over generic claims
- Maintain entity-specific messaging — Brite Nites content differs from Brite Supply content
- Frame Brite's multi-category position as a competitive advantage
- Respect language rules: "installations", "holiday lighting", cost framed as ROI
