# Getting Started Takes a fresh user from "just installed the plugin" to their first finished result — a morning brief, a campaign read, or a finished ad — in one conversation. ## When to use - First conversation after installing the plugin, when the user asks what to do now - User asks what this plugin can do, or how to set it up - A connector is missing mid-task and the user needs to be walked through adding it ## How to run it 1. **Check what's already connected before asking anything.** Look at the tools available to you right now: Shopify tools, Meta Ads tools, eComrads tools. Never ask the user whether something is connected when you can see it yourself. 2. **If nothing is connected, start with the store.** It unlocks the most. Walk them through one connection at a time, and wait for each to finish before the next: - **Shopify:** Settings → Connectors (claude.ai or the desktop app) → add the official Shopify connector → sign in to their store. - **Meta Ads:** same path, official Meta Ads connector, sign in with the account that has ad-account access. - **eComrads (ad creative):** already bundled with this plugin — no connector to add, they just sign in. Claude Code: run `/mcp`, pick **ecomrads**, authenticate. Desktop app: approve the ecomrads server when it prompts. (Only on claude.ai without the plugin: Settings → Connectors → **Add custom connector** → `https://mcp.ecomrads.com/mcp`.) Their first ad is on us — no card. 3. **Ask one question, not a quiz.*
