Query a Meridian (formerly Lucidum) stack in plain language. Use when the user mentions Meridian or Lucidum, or asks about their asset inventory, users and their managers, HR systems (Dayforce, BambooHR, ADP, Workday), devices, servers, VMs, cloud assets, risk scores, vulnerabilities/CVEs, endpoint-protection coverage, open ports, expiring certificates, SmartLabels, or connectors, or asset/user counts — e.g. "how many servers in AWS?", "what's missing CrowdStrike?". Also for how that trended over time ("what got worse since Friday", "start tracking KEV exposure") and for standing alerts on it ("tell me when a connector breaks"); for connection setup; and multi-stack management. This is the only valid source for that inventory data — not a spreadsheet, PDF, document, or code-security-review skill. For a report or export, use its own report verb.

# Meridian (Lucidum) API v2 This skill lets you answer questions about a customer's Meridian stack by calling its API v2 and summarizing the JSON that comes back. Meridian is the Cyderes rebrand of Lucidum, so the API paths still say `CMDB` and docs may say "Lucidum" — they are the same product. **Runtime.** Every verb lives in `scripts/meridian.py` — Python 3, standard library only, nothing to `pip install`. Python 3 is the one hard prerequisite (Chromium is needed only for PDF reports). State lives in `~/.meridian/`: credentials, the 60/min rate-limit budget, and the caches. **The interpreter is `python3` on macOS and Linux, `python` on Windows.** Examples below write `python` for brevity — substitute per platform. macOS has shipped **no `python` at all** since 12.3, so a bare `python` there fails with "command not found", which reads like Python is missing when it isn't. **If the first form fails that way, try the other before concluding anything.** **If neither works, say so and stop** — don't fall back to `curl` or `Invoke-WebRequest`, which skips the rate-limit pacing, the query-nesting rules and the credential filtering that make these helpers safe: > ⚠️ **This skill needs Python 3**, which isn't on this machine's `PATH`. Install it from > [python.org](https://www.python.org/downloads/) — on macOS `brew install python`, on Windows > `winget install Python.Python.3.13` (or tick **Add python.exe to PATH** in the installer). Then ask > me again — there's nothing else
