# MAIOS Project Context The kernel builds context from the relationship already present. An inquiry, domain, conversation, observation or ongoing activity can supply it without defining a project. When project work becomes useful, its identity and sources enrich this same context through the pertinent startup competence. This competence builds the context from which the assistant understands what can usefully happen. Context includes the operator relation, actual sources, existing work and its trajectory, environment, observations, tensions, results and reachable knowledge. It is continually constructed and corrected through work; neither a prompt nor a saved configuration contains the whole field. ## Build context and derive its intent The operating relation is: ```text sources, operator relation, situation, trajectory and observed consequences -> constructed living context -> intent derived from that context, with reasons and open uncertainty -> pertinent competences project useful possibilities, solutions or work -> result and consequence enrich or correct context, intent and competence. ``` These relations participate throughout the work; they are not interview stages.
