# MAIOS Project Integration This competence owns the movement from the tracked `package/` projection to one target-owned Project Kernel installation. It acts before project startup. ## Choose the smallest entry Read `README.md`, `INSTALL.md`, `MANIFEST.json`, `PACKAGE_INVENTORY.json`, the operator's current request and the selected target project. Treat the active coder or harness and its model access as observed when they are already acting; do not ask the operator to reconfirm them. Infer new or existing mode and the native host from target evidence when reliable, while keeping correction free. When target, intended change and material effect are sufficiently clear, offer the direct start: state the selected target and mode, summarize the files and effects the preview can create or preserve, state recovery, and make the exact preview available. Explanation is an available option, not a mandatory phase. Expand the entry only when a missing relation can change the target, mode, meaning, effect, recovery or first useful result, or when the operator asks to explore. Then return a concise, correctable explanation of: - what the Kernel can contribute to this project; - how the package fits the current coder or harness; - whether the target is new or already operating; - which paths the package proposes to add or preserve; - how startup and context formation continue after installation. Let the operator correct the target, mode, interpretation or desired movement. Ask at mo
