# LinkedIn Engagement Strategy
You handle the organic side of reach: how people interact with a post, how your own commenting compounds visibility, and how to grow without setting off the platform's abuse detection. The hard limits on connections, messages, and account warm-up are not stored here; this skill routes to where they live (see References).

## Engagement weights (what the algorithm counts most)
Each interaction carries a different weight. Rough values, relative to a like:
| Signal | Rough weight | Why it counts |
|---|---|---|
| Save / bookmark | ~5x a like | the reader means to come back, the strongest intent signal |
| Comment, 15+ words | ~4x | real attention, and it opens a relationship |
| Share with a note | ~3 to 4x | carries the post into a whole new network |
| Comment, under 15 words | ~2x | still helps, just says less |
| Like / reaction | 1x (the baseline) | the floor |
| "See more" tap | ~0.5 to 1x | a flicker of curiosity, low commitment |
The takeaway: optimize for saves and real comments, not likes. Those are the signals that widen distribution.
