# Affiliate Tracker Ops ## Overview A conversion that does not show up is almost never a tracker bug. It is a broken parameter chain: a macro that was never replaced, a click id that stopped being forwarded at one hop, or a postback template pointing at the wrong token. **Core principle: the click id is the only thing tying money to traffic.
