# Gym Plan → Animated Workout Guide
Turn a workout plan into a phone-friendly guide the user can follow inside the gym.
The output is one published Artifact: tabs per training day, one card per exercise
with coaching content and a looping vector animation.
## Why this design
The hard part is the animations. Do NOT hand-author ad-hoc SVG per exercise — that
is slow and produces janky stick figures. This skill bundles a 3D forward-kinematics
rig (`assets/rig.js`): an anatomically proportioned human drawn as a **filled
silhouette** (tapered limbs, waist-to-shoulder torso taper, hands and feet — never
stroked lines), plus drawn equipment (bench, bar, cables, machines) and an animator
that interpolates between named pose keyframes. It renders from two cameras —
**side** and **front** — and reps use asymmetric tempo (slow eccentric, faster
concentric) so motion reads as real lifting. 28 common movements already have
tuned poses in the `ANIMS` library. Reuse them; only author new poses for
exercises the library lacks (see `references/animation-guide.md`).
**Do not swap this for stock exercise media.** The widely circulated exercise-GIF
datasets (`hasaneyldrm/exercises-dataset`, BodyIQ / FitnessDB and their Kaggle and
HuggingFace mirrors) all trace their animations to Gym Visual, which requires a
paid per-use license; the repos say so in their own NOTICE files. Their *text*
layers are usable — `hasaneyldrm/exercises-dataset` releases instruction text,
structure, and muscle-group
