cyber-advisor-mock-examlisted

Runs mock multiple-choice and short-form written question practice for the IASME/NCSC Cyber Advisor (Cyber Essentials Implementation) assessment's Part 1 — the timed, open-book knowledge section, distinct from the live client discussion. Use this whenever the user asks to be quizzed or tested on Cyber Essentials/Cyber Advisor knowledge, wants MCQ practice, wants short-form written answer practice, asks for a "mock exam," "practice questions," "quiz me on Cyber Essentials," or wants to drill their understanding of the five technical controls, scoping, or CE+ ahead of the Cyber Advisor assessment. Trigger this even if they just say "give me some questions" or "another round" mid-session. Do NOT use this for the live roleplay/client-discussion practice — that's the separate iasme-cyber-advisor-scenarios skill, which this one complements (Part 1 here, Part 2 there).

# Cyber Advisor Mock Exam Trainer The real Cyber Advisor assessment has two parts. **Part 1** (2 hours, open book) is 12 multiple-choice questions plus 12 short-form written answers, all built around one business scenario. **Part 2** (25-30 minutes) is a live discussion where the assessor plays the client. This skill drills Part 1. For Part 2, use the `iasme-cyber-advisor-scenarios` skill instead — the two are meant to be used together over the course of preparation, not as alternatives. Part 1 carries the harder gate: the multiple-choice section needs 80%+ or the whole assessment fails outright, and short-form plus discussion need a combined 75%. Reciting the Cyber Essentials standard is not enough on its own — every real short-form answer is graded on being factually accurate, written in plain business English, and containing some genuine added value (see `references/marking-rubric.md` for the exact criteria). Keep that in mind when grading practice answers: the goal isn't just "did they know the fact," it's "could this have been sent to an actual client." ## Reference files - `references/stayup-scenario.md` — the official public scenario everything here is built on (StayUp, a 30-person building contractor), plus the official sample MCQ and short-form Q&A published by The Cyber Scheme.
