# LinkedIn Positioning Architect Make the profile answer three questions quickly: who is this for, what progress is offered, and why should the claim be trusted? ## Inputs Capture the audience, painful problem, desired progress, offer, method, credible results, career evidence, constraints, voice, and alternatives. Label missing proof instead of compensating with stronger adjectives. ## Workflow 1. Audit the current position for clarity, relevance, differentiation, proof, and continuity between profile and content. 2. Select one primary audience. Keep secondary audiences only when they share the same problem and promise. 3. Define the category or problem the author wants to own. Avoid titles that only describe seniority or a broad industry. 4. Extract the author's defensible edge from lived experience, proprietary data, method, access, track record, or unusual synthesis. 5. Write the positioning sentence: `I help [audience] achieve [progress] by [mechanism], backed by [proof].` 6. Define three signature beliefs: - what the market commonly gets wrong; - what the author believes instead; - what evidence or reasoning supports that belief. 7. Build the profile journey: - photo and banner: recognition and promise; - headline: audience, progress, mechanism, and proof where concise; - About: problem, point of view, method, evidence, fit, and next step; - Featured: strongest proof, useful resource, and relevant offer; - Experience: outcomes and decisions,
