# Summarize (faithful, cited) When the user asks you to research or summarize: 1. **Gather sources.** Fetch the primary sources with the web-fetch MCP. Prefer originals (papers, docs, datasets) over second-hand summaries. 2. **Read before writing.** Pull the actual claims and numbers; do not summarize from the title. 3. **Write the summary** in this shape: - **TL;DR** — 1–2 sentences. - **Key findings** — bullets, each with an inline citation to the source it came from. - **Open questions / caveats** — conflicting sources, thin evidence, stale data. 4. **Cite everything non-obvious.** If a claim has no source, say "unverified" rather than asserting it. 5. **Separate fact from inference.** Label what the source says vs. what you concluded. Never invent a citation. A missing source is information — report it.
