Read `spec/commands/speccraft.tech-debt.md` in full, then produce a read-only technical-debt report for the requested layer. Input: read `frontend` or `backend` the user supplied after invoking this skill. Rules before starting: - confirm `spec/architecture/ARCH-DECISIONS.md` §Layer Scope includes the target layer — if it excludes this layer, stop and report the mismatch - confirm real code exists to audit (`src-code-frontend/`/`src-code-backend/`, or the path recorded from a prior `/speccraft.onboard` run) — if empty, stop and report there is nothing to audit yet - run Mode A (code-only: dependencies, deprecated/EOL patterns, code hygiene, test gaps, type-safety gaps, security-lite smells) always - run Mode B (architecture drift vs. locked `AD-FRONTEND-*`/`AD-BACKEND-*`/Tier-2 `rules/` content) only if a baseline is locked — leave the category empty otherwise, do not refuse the run - tag every finding with Severity (High/Med/Low), Category, Mode (A/B), file:line Evidence, and a Recommendation - never fix, refactor, or upgrade anything — report only - never perform live vulnerability-database/CVE lookups — flag dependency findings for human verification instead - write the report to `spec/progress/shared/TECH-DEBT-FRONTEND/REPORT.md` or `spec/progress/shared/TECH-DEBT-BACKEND/REPORT.md` (overwrite on re-run — point-in-time snapshot, not append-only) - report the minimal handoff block from `spec/commands/speccraft.tech-debt.md`, then STOP — this command has no approval gate
