# new-contour — onboard a fresh chat as a self-closing contour Turns the **current chat** into a first-class **contour** in the operator's registry (§11/§12 of the global `~/.claude/CLAUDE.md`). The contour closes its own development-verification cycle itself (HL-6); the Censor is reachable over the file-mailbox channel for ESCALATION only (#BUS-2).
