# Pr Hero — Presentation Engine
> A deterministic 8-stage pipeline from brief to deck spec. Strategy before story,
> story before slides, evidence before claims, and an independent QA pass before "done".
> Methodological roots are the public classics: Minto's pyramid principle (argument
> structure), Duarte (narrative arc), Zelazny's _Say It With Charts_ (chart-type
> choice), Tufte (data-ink discipline).
## Input
`topic` + `essence` (minimum). Optional: `audience`, `goal`, `genre`, `length`,
`constraints`, any user-supplied facts or data. Missing fields are inferred and
shown back as a brief for confirmation before the pipeline runs.
## Pipeline — 8 stages
1. **Intake** — normalize the brief; flag every inferred field as an assumption.
2. **Strategist** — goal FIRST, audience second (a deck without a goal is a
weathervane). Place the audience on a motivation × expertise matrix:
**Skeptic** (low motivation / high expertise), **Bystander** (low / low),
**Enthusiast** (high / low), **Expert ally** (high / high). The goal is a
concrete shift across the matrix (e.g., Skeptic → Expert ally). Pick the genre
and the single core message. → Canvas.
3. **Narrative** — one central conflict ("who struggles against what, for what
stake"), and only ONE. Four-block arc (setup → problem → resolution → close),
in the spirit of Duarte's what-is / what-could-be oscillation. Every slide node
gets an assertive headline ("I assert that…") — never a descriptive label.
