# Dealer Search Strategy
This skill produces a comprehensive search strategy document for a franchise or independent car dealership. The document covers SEO (Search Engine Optimization), AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) as a unified strategy — because most dealers need all three but treat them as separate disciplines (or confuse them entirely).

## What SEO, AEO, and GEO actually are
This skill exists partly because dealers, agencies, and even consultants use these three terms interchangeably. They are not the same.
**SEO** (Search Engine Optimization) is the discipline of being found in traditional search engines that return a ranked list of links. Primary engines: Google web search, Bing. The user picks from the list and clicks through to a site. Outcome metric: ranking, organic clicks, ranked-keyword count.
**AEO** (Answer Engine Optimization) is the discipline of being cited in answer engines that assemble an answer from multiple sources. Primary surfaces: Google's featured snippets and People Also Ask, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot. The user may not click — the citation in the answer is part of the value.
