# Digest A list of messages someone else collected, grouped by the project each one belongs to, with that project's open items beside it. It answers "what came in, and what is still open on it" in one message. This skill collects nothing. A **feeder** -- a scheduled job, a mail rule, a script -- decides what is worth digesting and hands the items over; this skill decides which project each one belongs to and what the ledger says about that project. The split is deliberate: how a feeder classifies or scores a message is its own business, and nothing here reads it. ## Step 0: read the contracts Read these before doing anything.
