# Sort every reply before anyone answers it An agent answers a reply on its own only when the reply falls into a short list of safe classes. Price, pitches, negative replies and anything ambiguous go to a human as a ready draft. If you are unsure which class it is, it is not safe. ## Why A wrong automated answer costs more than a day of waiting. The worst case we hit: a "sorry we missed each other, let's reschedule" message is ready to go to someone who already had the call, just off the calendar. So the agent checks the calendar, the call recorder, the email thread and the last message before any scheduling reply, and a thread that hints the meeting already happened goes to a human. ## Classes Safe, the agent answers and sends: 1. **Scheduling.** They agree to talk or ask when. Offer the booking link once, or ask them to name a time. 2. **Booking.** They gave an email and a time. Check every calendar, the slot is free, create the event and invite. 3. **Factual question** whose answer is already written in your offer or playbook (what you do, how onboarding works, which channels). 4. **Polite close.** "Not now" (note when to come back) or a clear "no". Thank them, leave the door open, stop the sequence. 5. **Short acknowledgement** where no content is needed. Human, the agent writes a draft and does not send: - price, discounts, contract terms - a counter-pitch or partnership pitch - negative tone, complaints, "remove me" with an edge - legal, press - questions outside w
