Copy the staged `docs/knowledge/` tree into `docs/knowledge/`. 3. Commit the promoted files. 4. Run `project-knowledge --activate-staged` with the committed snapshot on stdin. The commit is required: `--activate-staged` compares the staged map with `HEAD`, making review part of the migration boundary. `--activate-staged` reads that snapshot on stdin and compares it against `HEAD`, the staged map, and the worktree; all four must agree or it refuses with `map_mismatch`.
