# Standup Window: `$ARGUMENTS`. Empty means the last working day; on a Monday, since Friday. ## Gather ``` git config user.email git log --since="<window>" --author="<that email>" --format='%h %s' --all git branch --show-current git status --short git diff --stat ``` If the author filter returns nothing, drop it and say the log is unfiltered. ## Write it Three lines. No headers, no bullets, no adjectives. Yesterday: what landed, as an outcome, not as activity. "Merged the webhook retry fix; duplicate charges stopped." Not "worked on webhooks." Today: what the current branch and the uncommitted changes are toward, plus anything obvious from the log. Blockers: real ones, named specifically enough that someone could unblock them. Otherwise "None." Under 60 words total. A fourth flat line is allowed only when the log gives a real observation, such as the same fix landing twice. If git has nothing in the window, say so in one line and ask what was done. One question.
