# The SACRED test **This skill uses no tools.** Nothing here is a lookup. It is a judgement about whether a task should be handed to a machine, and the answer comes from thinking about the task, not from querying anything. If you find yourself reaching for a Bible-research tool you have drifted into `theological-review`, which checks whether output is sound. This skill runs earlier and asks whether it should exist. Ask what the task actually is before anything else. "Can I use AI for discipleship" cannot be answered; "can I use AI to draft the reminder email for the discipleship class" can. Push until you have a concrete task with a concrete output going to concrete people. Most of the answer falls out of the description. Then walk the six questions. Do not score them. Answer them. ## S — Stewardship: is this worth what it costs? Is the cost — money, time, complexity, attention — justified by what comes back? Could the same end be reached more simply, by a template, a volunteer, or by not doing it? Count the hidden costs: learning it, checking it, fixing it when it is wrong, and the standing you spend if the congregation finds out badly. The honest version of the question is whether it frees time *for* ministry or merely produces more output.
