routing-simulatelisted

Run lead routing rules against real leads to find dead rules, rules shadowed by a broader rule above them, leads that match nothing, and an unbalanced distribution across owners. Use when auditing lead assignment in LeanData, HubSpot, Salesforce or a custom router, before changing routing, after a territory change, or when a salesperson says they stopped receiving leads. Takes a JSON rules file and a CSV of leads, needs no API access.

# routing-simulate ## Agent workflow This is an executable simulation. When rules and leads are available, run the bundled simulator instead of reviewing the rule order by eye. 1. Identify the routing rules JSON and the leads CSV. If the rules exist only as prose or screenshots, transcribe them into the documented DSL, expose every assumption, and ask about ambiguities that could change an assignment before treating the simulation as authoritative. 2. Confirm the leads export contains the fields referenced by the rules. Read [references/input-guide.md](references/input-guide.md) when the user needs templates or help mapping fields. 3. Resolve `scripts/simulate.py` relative to this `SKILL.md` and run it with an available Python 3 interpreter. In Claude Code, `${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}` is this skill directory; in other hosts use the skill path supplied by the host. Quote every path. 4. Interpret exit codes exactly: `0` means the supplied rules produced no reported routing defects, `1` means findings were produced, and `2` means the rules or leads could not support a trustworthy simulation. On `2`, relay the actionable error and stop. 5. Present the actual owner distribution first, then unknown fields, shadowed rules, unrouted leads, dead rules, and load imbalance. Separate observed behavior from any judgement about whether that behavior was intended. Never edit production routing or claim this DSL exactly reproduces a vendor's private semantics.
