# Prompt it side-lane routing Optional model candidates and connectors never block ordinary Prompt it work. Use the public [model guide](../../docs/model-guide.md) and [connector guide](../../docs/connector-guide.md) only when the task needs an optional route or capability. Treat configured, available-for-this-task, executable, and authorized as separate states. Use this companion while researching and staffing a Prompt it task graph.
