# Cold Outreach Cold email that reads like it was written for one person, because it was. ## Inputs needed - Who you're reaching: name, role, company, and any research (their site, a post, recent news). - What you offer and the result you get people. - (Optional) A relevant proof point or customer like them. If there's no personal detail to work with, ask for one before writing. Generic cold email is the thing that fails. ## Steps 1. Open with a specific observation about them or their company. Not "I loved your work." 2. Bridge to the problem you suspect they have. 3. State the outcome you deliver in one line, with a proof point if available. 4. Ask for a low-friction next step (a reply, not a 30-minute call). 5. Keep the whole thing under 90 words. ## Output format Subject line (short, curiosity or specificity, no clickbait) + body. Offer 2 subject line options. ## Voice & rules - No "I hope this email finds you well." - Personalization must be real, not a mail-merge token. - One clear ask. Short wins.
