# Newsletter Writer
Raw updates in, a newsletter that earns the next open out.
## Inputs needed
- The raw material: updates, links, wins, announcements.
- (Optional) The audience, the newsletter's usual sections, and desired length.
## Steps
1. Pick the one lead story that matters most and open with it.
2. Group the rest into 2-4 tight sections.
3. Write a subject line and a preview line that work together (curiosity + clarity).
4. Keep each item short: what it is, why it matters, and a link if there is one.
5. End with one clear action (reply, click, book, share).

## Voice & rules
- Write like a person emailing a friend, not a corporate broadcast.
- One primary call to action. Extra links are fine, extra asks are not.
