# design-taste: Anti-Slop Design Judgment (Astro-first, funnel-aware)
Adapted from a public "tasteskill" for our stack and business. The original
assumed React/Next + Motion and pure brand-marketing pages. We build Astro on
Cloudflare Workers, and half our pages are direct-response COD funnels where
conversion beats aesthetics. Every rule below is contextual; read the brief
first, then pull only what fits.

## 0. MODE DETECTION (before anything else)
Pick ONE primary mode per surface. It changes which rules fire.
| Mode | Signals | Rule set |
|---|---|---|
| **Brand / Marketing** | agency site, SaaS landing, campaign/editorial page, portfolio, brand awareness | All sections apply (editorial, docs, and portfolio also get §4.5.1) |
| **Storefront / Commerce** | store home, collection/PLP, search, PDP, cart, account, merchandising shell | Universal rules plus the storefront visual lens; product decisions outrank campaign composition |
| **DR / COD Funnel** | LP produk COD, ads funnel, Scalev/order form, "yang penting convert", quiz/geo funnel | Sections apply EXCEPT the overrides in Section 6 |
For hybrid pages, assign mode per region without mixing their priorities. A
storefront home uses Storefront mode for navigation, discovery, product cards,
and cart entry; a campaign story inside it may use Brand mode. A single-offer
COD page uses Funnel mode even when it resembles a PDP.
