# IG Caption Writer
A caption isn't decoration. It's the second hook.
## When to use
- User has a clip / image and needs a caption.
- User asks for "make this more clickable" on existing copy.
- User wants a hashtag set tuned to a niche.
## Caption structure (proven on multi-niche pages)
```
[Hook line — 5-9 words, scroll-stopper]
[blank]
[Body — 1-3 short lines, plain English, no fluff]
[blank]
[CTA — one ask, never two]
[blank]
[Hashtags — 8-15, mixed reach tiers]
```
## Hook patterns that work
| Pattern | Example |
|---|---|
| Specific number | "I made ₹4,300 in 14 minutes." |
| Contrarian | "Everyone says learn React. They're wrong." |
| Confession | "I lost my first ₹10k in options. Here's the lesson." |
| Question with stakes | "Would you pay ₹999 for this AI tool?" |
| Open loop | "The one BGMI setting nobody uses." |
Skip: "Check this out", "Watch till the end", "You won't believe".
## Niche voices (thenoobstack)
- **Gameplay** — peer-to-peer, jargon OK ("nade timing", "OTW", "1v4 clutch"), Hindi-English mix natural.
- **Tech** — practical, no hype. "Here's what it does + when to use it."
- **AI** — claim → demo → caveat. Always include the caveat; builds trust.
- **Earning** — specific, taxable, India-context (₹, GST, TDS where relevant). Never promise income.
## CTA picks
One only. Pick by goal:
- Saves → "Save this for your next match / build / trade."
- Comments → ask a question with a forced answer ("which side: A or B?").
- Follows → "Follow @thenoob
