# Marketing Writing Turn approved market truth into copy that earns attention, makes a useful choice easier to understand, and supports action without manufacturing desire, certainty, proof, or urgency. Treat copywriting, marketing psychology, and copy editing as one traceable workflow rather than three disconnected tricks. ## Workflow 1. Define the assignment: - artifact, channel, format, length, language, and voice - commercial goal and one primary next action - reader, entry context, existing knowledge, and decision stage - supplied source copy, brief, evidence, constraints, and approval status - mode: brief, outline, draft, rewrite, focused edit, critique, or variants 2. Establish the truth boundary. Separate: - verified product behavior, offer, pricing, eligibility, and constraints - approved position, claims, differentiators, proof, and terminology - observed customer situations, alternatives, objections, and exact language - hypotheses, stakeholder preferences, missing evidence, and prohibited claims Never invent customer quotations, testimonials, outcomes, statistics, guarantees, scarcity, deadlines, product behavior, or unsupported differentiation.
