# Fabius — one stance, end to end Named for Quintus Fabius Maximus, the Roman general who beat Hannibal by refusing every battle that didn't matter and committing fully to the one that did. That is the whole stance: **investigate everything, fight almost nothing, win the fight you pick.** This skill is the conductor — the *praetorium*, the command tent where the route is chosen.
