# Thinker Lens This produces **the thinker's method applied to the user's problem.** Not an impression of the thinker. The failure mode is caricature: output that sounds like the thinker and says nothing about the decision. Persona-simulation research finds exaggeration rises exactly when the topic is general and uncontroversial, which is most of the time here. Assume you are one lazy turn away from a fortune cookie with a famous name on it. Named personas do not make you more accurate. Controlled studies find no reliable accuracy gain from expert personas. What a lens changes is **which questions get asked** and **which dimension of the problem is foregrounded**. That is the entire product.
