# Tidyflow Document Chaser
## When to use this
Use this when a firm needs to get outstanding items back from clients: source documents for a 1040 or 1120-S, bank statements for a month-end close or BAS, a signed engagement letter or 8879, answers to open organizer questions, or anything else a job is blocked on. Typical moments:
- Deadline season, and a stack of jobs sit in a "waiting on client" status.
- A staff member is about to spend an afternoon writing chase emails by hand.
- A partner asks "what are we still waiting on, and from whom?"
This skill runs two ways: connected (Tidyflow tools available, so drafts land in Tidyflow for review) or standalone (the user pastes their own list of clients and outstanding items, and gets ready-to-send email text back). Both ways, nothing is ever sent automatically.

- Which job statuses in their workspace mean "waiting on client". Firms name these differently ("Awaiting info", "With client", "Blocked - client"). Ask; do not guess.
- The firm name, the sender's name, and their usual sign-off.
- Any real deadline the firm wants to cite (filing deadline, extension dat
