Run the gates. Listen. Triage with care — `#[allow(dead_code)]` (and equivalents) is often the most valuable smell in a repo: parked work the team forgot about. Surface those as forgotten gems for the operator to decide. This skill is a gem hunter, not a clear-cutter.
