model-grade
Grade a prompt and pick the cheapest Claude model and effort level that will complete it well (Haiku 4.5, Sonnet 5, Opus 5.5, or Fable 5.1 at low to max effort, with Opus 5 as a classifier fallback), so an expensive model is never committed to work that does not need it. Use this whenever the user asks which model to use, whether a task needs Opus or Fable, how to save tokens or cost on a job, wants a prompt routed or delegated to a cheaper model, or types /model-grade. Also reach for it before delegating substantial work to a subagent when the user cares about cost. The optional --run flag executes the prompt on the chosen model. Subcommands update, version, and refresh maintain the skill itself.

Shorthand for /model-grade. Grades a prompt and picks the cheapest Claude model and effort level that will complete it well; takes the same arguments as /model-grade.
