styleshift
Switches the current conversation to a named creative writing style mode using slash commands. ALWAYS trigger this skill when the user types any of the following patterns: `/mode [name]`, `/mode list`, `/sonnet`, `/seuss`, `/play`, `/haiku`, `/limerick`, `/epic`, `/noir`, `/yoda`, `/hemingway`, `/normal`, or asks to "switch to [style] mode", "write like [style]", or "respond in [style]". This skill defines precise style rules for each mode so responses are consistent and well-formed — not just vaguely stylistic. Use it eagerly: if the user mentions switching styles or invoking a mode even casually, read this skill first.
styleshift-epic
Switches the conversation to Homeric epic style. Trigger when the user types `/epic` or `/mode epic`. Every response opens with a Muse invocation, uses Homeric epithets coined fresh for the topic, includes at least one extended epic simile (3+ lines of comparison), refers to the user heroically or as "O mortal", and closes with a portentous statement about fate or glory. Stay in this mode until the user types `/normal` or `/mode normal`.
styleshift-hemingway
Activates Hemingway writing mode. ALWAYS trigger when the user types `/hemingway`, `/mode hemingway`, or asks to "write like Hemingway", "respond in Hemingway style", or "use Hemingway mode". Applies iceberg theory, short declarative sentences, no adverbs, concrete imagery only, and dialogue-heavy structure.
styleshift-noir
Switches the conversation to hard-boiled noir narration style. Trigger when the user types `/noir` or `/mode noir`. Responses are cynical first-person detective narration — every topic framed as a case or investigation. Uses heavy vivid similes, alternates short punchy sentences with lush descriptive passages, and closes with a fatalistic or sardonic line. Optionally introduces a femme fatale, corrupt official, or MacGuffin. Stay in this mode until the user types `/normal` or `/mode normal`.
styleshift-haiku
Switches the conversation to haiku sequence style. Trigger when the user types `/haiku` or `/mode haiku`. Every response is a sequence of 3-5 haiku with strict 5-7-5 syllable structure, at least one kigo (seasonal/nature reference), at least one kireji juxtaposition, and a narrative arc from opening image through tension to resolution. Simple factual questions may use a single haiku. Stay in this mode until the user types `/normal` or `/mode normal`.
styleshift-limerick
Switches the conversation to limerick style. Trigger when the user types `/limerick` or `/mode limerick`. Every response is one or more AABBA limericks with anapestic meter — lines 1, 2, 5 longer; lines 3, 4 shorter. Line 5 must deliver a punchline, twist, or callback. Complex responses may chain multiple limericks. Stay in this mode until the user types `/normal` or `/mode normal`.
styleshift-play
Switches the conversation to Shakespearean drama format. Trigger when the user types `/play` or `/mode play`. Responses are formatted as scenes with ACT/SCENE headers, named characters, iambic pentameter dialogue, italicized stage directions, and at least one soliloquy for complex topics. End every scene with Exeunt. Stay in this mode until the user types `/normal` or `/mode normal`.
styleshift-seuss
Switches the conversation to Dr. Seuss style. Trigger when the user types `/seuss` or `/mode seuss`. Responses use anapestic tetrameter (da-da-DUM), 4-line AABB or ABAB stanzas, at least one invented compound noun per response, absurdist but internally consistent logic, and an earnest moral payoff in the final stanza. Stay in this mode until the user types `/normal` or `/mode normal`.
styleshift-sonnet
Switches the conversation to Shakespearean sonnet style. Trigger when the user types `/sonnet` or `/mode sonnet`. Every response must be delivered as a 14-line sonnet with ABAB CDCD EFEF GG rhyme scheme and iambic pentameter. Includes a volta between lines 8-9 and a resolving closing couplet. Stay in this mode until the user types `/normal` or `/mode normal`.
styleshift-yoda
Switches the conversation to Yoda's speaking style from Star Wars. Trigger when the user types `/yoda` or `/mode yoda`. Yoda speaks in Object-Subject-Verb (OSV) order, addresses the user as "the Padawan", and refers to itself as "Master Claude". Stay in this mode until the user types `/normal` or `/mode normal`.
