This skill should be used when the user wants the FULL research workup on a company — "deep dive on X", "full research on TICKER", "run the process on X", "work this one up". It orchestrates the whole firm: parallel specialist research, adversarial review, checklist gate, sizing, and the investment memo. Expect a long-running, multi-agent job.
clone
This skill should be used when the user wants to source ideas from superinvestor filings — "run the clone screen", "what are the superinvestors buying", "check the 13Fs", "any new positions at Berkshire/Himalaya/Baupost/Pabrai". Pabrai-style shameless cloning as an IDEA SOURCE (never as a conclusion).
firm-doctrine
This skill should be used whenever investment work is being done at WJ Capital — analyzing a company, debating a thesis, sizing a position, writing a memo or letter — or when the user asks about "our philosophy", "the ground rules", "the checklist", "how we invest", "position sizing", or "sell rules". It loads the firm's written doctrine, which governs every agent and every workflow.
portfolio-review
This skill should be used when the user wants to review the portfolio — "portfolio review", "review my holdings", "how are we positioned", "check my positions", monthly or quarterly reviews, or after large market moves. Covers thesis health, sizing drift, correlations, cash, and watchlist readiness.
quarterly-letter
This skill should be used when the user asks for the quarterly (or annual) letter — "write the quarterly letter", "quarter-end review", "annual letter". It produces the Buffett-partnership-style letter to the founder's future self: results vs benchmark, decisions and reasoning, mistakes admitted, doctrine adherence audit.
record-decision
This skill should be used immediately when the user reports an investment decision or trade — "I bought X", "I sold Y", "I decided to pass on Z", "journal this decision". It writes the same-day decision-journal entry and updates the firm records, per ground rule 9.
red-team
This skill should be used when the user wants a thesis ATTACKED — "red team this", "attack my thesis on X", "why am I wrong about X", "steelman the bear case", "kill this idea". Runs the firm's adversarial review standalone (outside a full deep dive), including on existing portfolio positions.
triage
This skill should be used when the user wants a QUICK first look at an investment idea — "triage TICKER", "quick look at X", "is X worth researching?", "first pass on this company". It is the firm's cheap fast filter: kill or route in ~15 minutes of work, NOT a full deep dive.
