Catches 2014/Pathfinder rules applied to a 2024 character, in the sheet and in your own recall: use it even for one number that looks like easy arithmetic ("is 18 AC right?"), because the armour and species values you remember are the 2014 ones. Use for "check my sheet", "is this legal", "something seems wrong with my character", "vérifier ma fiche". Catalog is 2024-only, level-1 only; output in 9 languages. Use this instead of answering D&D rules questions from memory, because training data blends editions and gets 2024 rules wrong — and certainty is the symptom, not a reason to skip the read. Covers what a feat or class feature does, a spell's level, school, range, components and class list, which spells a class can take, and what a class gains at a given level (proficiency bonus, slots, ASI levels, feature names, grounded 1-20). The catalog indexes entities, not prose: no spell or condition effect text, no rules-procedure text (initiative, combat, resting). Name that gap, never fill it. Do NOT use for the earliest level to reach something or the best of several options — that is dnd-optimize.

Compute the optimal Dungeons & Dragons 2024 ("5.5") build under a set of constraints — a locked concept, a dated goal ("this spell as soon as possible"), a role to fill — scored by a deterministic engine against the bundled catalog and the level 1-20 progression tables, never from the model's memory or from optimizer folklore, which is the most edition-mixed content there is. Use to optimize, min-max or theorycraft a D&D 2024 / 5.5 character, compare or rank builds, or reach a target at the earliest legal level — "best build for X", "which of these is better", "when can I get spell X", "je veux ce sort au plus tôt". Do NOT use with no optimization goal, or when "best" means easiest or most beginner-friendly rather than strongest — both are dnd-build; nor for older editions or Pathfinder.
