gate
SolidRuns this repo's local gate quietly — fmt, lint, test, build, docs regeneration, the harness checks, fuzz when a parser changed, vuln with full — one line per step, the tool's verdict verbatim, log tail only when red. Use before a commit, after a build track, "run the gate", "is it green", "check everything".

gate
The commit-time gate as one command. Runs the code-level reviewer subagent plus the document audits installed in this project — /business audit (non-goals/scope), /decision audit (unrecorded decisions) and, where the opt-in /compliance skill is installed, /compliance audit (regulated ground) — each in its own subagent, then merges their findings under the shared audit ladder and ownership contract into ONE verdict and appends a dated run record under .attest/ (the attestation that the gate ran). Touches no control document, and changes no code except in the named `fix` mode, which repairs reviewer-owned blockers and majors, and a /business blocker marked `repair: code` under a test it writes first — nothing else. Does NOT include /audit-history (that is the separate ship gate, run before a push/release). Generic — usable in any repo. Run it before a commit; each sub-audit fires only where relevant.
gates
Run the project's full gate ladder (company/run-gates.sh) and stamp the result, or configure the gates themselves. Use when the user says /gates, "run the gates", "are we green", before any commit/merge in a claude-company project, or when a commit was hook-blocked for red/stale gates and you need current truth.
green-gate
The verification gate every change passes before it is called done — typecheck, lint, tests, build, e2e, cheapest-first over the changed set, with a repair budget and evidence per gate. Invoke it after each implementation step and before any handover.
