aif-grounded

Solid

Reliability gate for answers. Forces evidence-based reasoning, explicit uncertainty, and “insufficient information” instead of guesses. Use when user says “be 100% sure”, “no hallucinations”, “only if verified”, “grounded answer”, or when stakes are high.

# Grounded - Reliability Gate (No Guessing) This skill minimizes random / fabricated answers by enforcing a strict rule: **Only provide the final answer if confidence is 100/100 based on evidence available.** If confidence is not 100, **do not guess** and **do not implement**. Output a short “what’s missing” checklist that explains what would be required to reach 100. ## When to use Use when: - The user requests maximum reliability (“only if you’re sure”, “no assumptions”). - The request includes changeable facts (versions, “latest”, policies, prices, schedules). - The request is security/finance/legal/medical adjacent (high stakes). - You’re resuming after context loss and need to avoid accidental assumptions. ## Workflow ### Step 0: Load Skill Context **Read `.ai-factory/skill-context/aif-grounded/SKILL.md`** — MANDATORY if the file exists. This file contains project-specific rules accumulated by `/aif-evolve` from patches, codebase conventions, and tech-stack analysis. These rules are tailored to the current project. **How to apply skill-context rules:** - Treat them as **project-level overrides** for this skill's general instructions - When a skill-context rule conflicts with a general rule written in this SKILL.md, **the skill-context rule wins** (more specific context takes priority — same principle as nested CLAUDE.md files) - When there is no conflict, apply both: general rules from SKILL.md + project rules from skill-context - Do NOT ignore skill-context ...

aiw-ground-truth

Establishes where trusted inputs and expected outputs come from during coding tasks, so the agent's tests, fixtures, and assumed-correct values have authority not invented by the agent. Use this skill before generating a test fixture, constructing expected output, mocking an external system, reusing earlier fixtures, deleting code, or assuming what 'correct' means, and at the start of every task to classify the work into one or more of the nine modalities (New, Feature, Fix, Refactor, Improve, Investigate, Migrate, Configure, Delete). It owns the trust hierarchy for ground-truth sources, the canonical modality decision procedure shared across the workflow, modality-specific oracle rules, the sourcing protocol when real ground truth is missing, storage and provenance for ground-truth artifacts, and the boundary distinguishing ground truth from test setup. It breaks the closed loop where the agent writes the code, fixtures, and tests and reads its own results with no external check.

gut-check

Use when about to lock in a non-trivial or hard-to-reverse decision, fire AskUserQuestion to offload a call, proceed on your own preferred option, or assert something is done / found / tested / fixed / "that's how it works" — especially when the basis is memory, the handoff, the first framing, or an unchecked assumption rather than something verified this session. Also invoked as /gut-check. Use even when you feel confident; confidence is the symptom, not the all-clear.
